Taming the Wolf

Maturity Rating: Ages 16 and up. This fictional novelization contains occasional adult language and sexuality that may not be considered appropriate for readers under the age of 16.

After watching Imperial Soldiers run a blade through her father, Luthien attacks with a vengeance that sends her straight to the chopping block in Helgen. But just before the executioner brings down his blade, a dragon comes and sets her free. She escapes Helgen with a kind Stormcloak soldier, who promises her a life of honor and glory and enough Imperial blood to quench her lust for revenge, but first she’ll have to deliver word to the Jarl of Whiterun that dragons have returned.

Once in Whiterun, a chance encounter with a faction of warriors known as the Companions, redirects her course. She has a lot to learn about being a warrior, and the Companions can teach her everything she needs to know about glory, honor, and family but first she’ll have to prove herself worthy of the pack.

Thank you for reading, Storm, and for letting me know you’re enjoying the story. More chapters coming very soon!!

Hoping she and Farkas get together at some point. Skyrim is a fantastic game and very glad you are writing from female perspective. Keep up the good work!

I find I keep stalking this blog waiting for you to update, I’ve never been one for fanfiction, but I’m loving this :)
I love how often you update as well xP

Hi Midna. Right now I’m trying to post between one and two chapters a day. I am just a few chapters away from finishing this story, and I’m already planning a second story to follow once I finish this one. I wish I could post the chapters faster. Rummaging through screencaps to find just the right ones to use is almost more time consuming than writing the story, but I am having so much fun expanding the storyline and the characters. Thank you for reading, and letting me know you like the story!

this is amazing. the characterisation is spot on. everything; your dialogue, descriptions, how you mix the main quest with the companions perfectly, it just oozes talent. please write more, it’s great!

Hey there, Emma. Thank you for reading and for the compliments. I have about 15 or so more chapters already written and plan to wrap up this part of the story today. But even after that, there will be more. I’m having far too much fun with this storyline to stop now.

Just to add to what the others said above, I have never really been into fan fiction or found anything I actually enjoy reading. Yours is different. It is really well crafted. I was looking for more info on Farkas and the companion guild and came across your story that way and I find myself completely excited when you post a new chapter. I hope you are enjoying writing it as much as we are reading it!

I really am enjoying writing it, so much. After I finished the last chapter this morning, I took a break and then dove right back in to start writing the next book. Hopefully I’ll have all the chapters in Taming the Wolf posted in about a week, maybe less. Then it’s on to Riding the Storm. Thank you so much for reading it!
