Daughter of Twilight

Family; as a child the man who adopted Ginna told her it was the most important faction she would ever belong to. When all else in her life fell apart, her family would be there for her to fall back on, but her brother Brutus never took anything their father taught them to heart. Ever since they were children he’s gone out of his way to make her life miserable, but now that they’re grown he’s pushed his vendetta against Ginna to the limit.

After discovering their unique Daedric parentage, Brutus has promised to destroy everything Ginna has ever loved. Ginna wants nothing more than to separate herself from her new family, including her husband Brynjolf, in order to keep them safe, but families have to stick together and she couldn’t walk away from them even if she tried.

The fact that she’s carrying his child has Brynjolf on high alert, and even though she wears an amulet that will keep her unborn baby safe, he won’t even let her go to the bathroom by herself. And forget trying to slip out while he’s sleeping. He’s got guildmembers guarding them both, and there’s not a moment she’s not within their sight.

On a quest to find her real father and retrieve her mother’s Bow of Shadows, she finds herself searching for some way to get under Brutus’s skin, some weakness that will make him an easier target, but how does one hurt a man who holds nothing close to his heart? Discovering his one weakness through chance, Ginna must step back and ask herself how much like Brutus she really is, and determine whether or not she has what it takes to end the feud between them once and for all.

Hi Bernadette. I am working on it slowly, but also working on my original fiction so I have no exact date on when I’ll start posting new chapters of Daughter of Twilight. :)

Hi Katie. I am so happy to hear you enjoyed these stories. I want to get back to Ginna and Bryn’s story, but it’s been a while and I will have to play through the Thieves Guild questline to get back in that frame of mind. Lately I’ve been all wrapped up in Dragon Age, gearing up for the Inquisition, so I can’t make any accurate predictions on when the next chapter of Daughter of Twilight will go up, but I will update it eventually. I try very hard to finish everything I start. Sometimes it just takes an epic while. Sorry about that.

I’ve read through the first two books in the last few days, and am sad to see there isn’t an ending for Ginna and Bryn’s story – I suppose it’s open to our imaginations.

I wish I knew what to say that would may everyone feel better about this, but my life changed dramatically, and not for the better, around the time I was writing the end of that second book. It became really difficult for me to get back into it because so much happened. I wish I could give reassurance that particular story will find its way back to my priority list, but at this time I just can’t say that with confidence.
